Polyaire launches new Quick Fix Metal Blade Dampers
that save on installation time.

Polyaires Motorized Dampers have been a big success over a number of years because of their robust plastic construction, strong Polyaire motors and folded metal blades. August 2008 sees the release of a new model that takes this product range to a new level of usefulness and practicality.

Released first into our large NSW market and progressively into the other states as our stockholding increases, the new Polyaire 'Quick Fix' range of dampers represents the first major design change in A/C dampers for many years. The Quick Fix range has smooth industrial plastic bodies with insulation and Polyaires' very reliable damper motor and folded metal blade from the previous model.

What makes this product unique is that it uses cable ties (supplied) to connect the duct to its specially designed spigots. The spigots have a slightly positive taper (they flare out) that helps to grab the flex and cable tie and greatly decrease the chance of duct disconnection. Added to this is the fact that two duct ties are a lot easier for the installer to connect in the roof than trying to wrap layers of tape around the duct and fitting. Its a major time and frustration saver.
